Tulip 'White Valley' 6 bulbs
Tulip 'White Valley' — 6 Bulbs
An elegant, understated double tulip, Tulip 'White Valley' produces large, semi-double, creamy-white blooms with a delicate fresh green streak on the outer petals — a subtly sophisticated alternative to brighter spring colour schemes. Held on sturdy, stocky stems above grey-green foliage, the flowers make a beautiful display planted on their own or mixed with more vividly coloured tulips, and they last particularly well as a cut flower for spring arrangements.
Reaching around 40-45cm in height with a spread of 15cm, this variety is best planted in mid to late autumn — later than most bulbs, which helps reduce the risk of tulip fire — at a depth of two to three times the bulb's height, in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun with shelter from strong winds. Plant generously in bold groups for maximum impact, whether in borders, containers or as a flowing drift through beds.
