Feel Sick Muscle Tank

Am I making you feel sick?

This piece is inspired by the song “Strangers,” by Ethel Cain

Measurements (all taken laying flat):
pit to pit: 21”
center of neckline to hem: 23.5”
strap width: 6”

I sourced the brown tshirt and the green gingham tea towel from a local thrift store in Alabama. I used the gingham grid as a cross stitch pattern guide. I stitched the words onto the towel first, then cut them out individually and placed them on the tshirt in an arrangement that felt balanced. I used a zigzag stitch to attach the cross stitched pieces to the shirt, then cut the sleeves off to relax the overall appearance of the piece.
